City Completes Renovation of Hollyhock House Residence A
The Bureau of Engineering and our partners are proud to complete the restoration of Residence A: Phase 1, Frank Lloyd Wright's Aline Barnsdall Residence A guest house in Barnsdall Park. The original house was completed 100 years ago. The renovation is another major milestone in the City's ongoing effort to return Hollyhock House and related structures to their original state.
In this video, project team members discuss the significance of this national historic landmark, what's been done in Phase 1, and what work is still to come. In the weeks ahead, we'll be further highlighting dramatic transformations from Phase 1 (2017-2021).
