Bureau of Engineerings Siesmic Retrofit Project requires for
most bridges Retrofit arch ribs, spandrel columns, piers,
abutments and pier foundation. Construct new reinforced concrete
bridge deck with sidewalks. Reconstruct historical railing,
ornamental lights, Doric pylons at each end of the bridge
and decorative columns on pier buttresses.

In order to analyze the siesmic retrofit
project, computer models are used.
