New Fire/Paramedic Station Project Description

The project would construct a three-story, approximately 18,000-square-foot fire station, including approximately 14,000 square feet of underground parking on a currently vacant lot located on the the northeast corner of Hollywood Blvd. and Van Ness Ave.  The new fire station would be designed to accommodate future growth.  The regional components, consisting of an apparatus maintenance area, apparatus storage area, and multi-purpose room, would be located at the site of the existing Fire Station 82. The existing fire station building has been found to be eligible for local listing as a Historical Cultural Monument. It would be renovated and used for equipment storage and maintenance. The garage building on the the site would be demolished, and a two-story structure of approximately 6,000 square feet built in its place. The building would contain apparatus storage on the first floor, a multipurpose room and restrooms on the second floor. 

Fire Facility Location

Currently, Fire Station 82 is located at 1800 N. Bronson.
