Between May 2nd and May 22nd, 2018, the public provided online comments on the DRAFT Project Description. This allows everyone to provide suggestions and comments. 

This is a summary of comments from the community, included as Exhibit 7 in the RFP.

NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Silver Lake Reservoir Complex Master Plan Project

The City of Los Angeles Bureau of Engineering will shortly be seeking proposals from qualified planning and design consultant teams to develop a master plan for the Silver Lake Reservoir Complex in Los Angeles.

The team can be led by a planning, landscape architecture, engineering or architecture firm, with the appropriate sub-consultant disciplines required for full master planning services.

Interested firms and team members must:

  1. Register with the City of Los Angeles Business Assistance Virtual Network (BAVN) at http://www.labavn.org. Registration is free.

  2. Once registered, click on Opportunities for Public Works Bureau of Engineering to download the Request for Proposals (RFP) and Attachments, once it has been posted.

Timeline:

  1. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released in August 2018.

  2. After the RFP is made available, firms will have approximately six (6) weeks to respond to RFP.
