Under Prop K, $298,850,000 of the total amount generated over 30 years will be set aside to the City for 183 specified projects, projects that were adopted in the ballot measure. These projects include parks, recreation facilities, athletic fields, and outdoor improvements.
As of FY 2020, a Seven Year Plan has been adopted. (Note: Previously A Five Year Plan was adopted each year by the City Council based on input from the Regional Volunteer Neighborhood Oversight Committees and the L.A. for Kids Steering Committee.) The Seven Year Plan outlines a list of specified projects in each City region, ranked within Council District, that are recommended to be done over the next seven years.
