January 22, 2021

The Bureau of Engineering, the lead department for the planning and design of the City's A Bridge Home Program, has completed work on the City's first Tiny Home Village Project.

The project brings 44 individual shelter homes with 80 new beds to the North Hollywood neighborhood.

Mayor Garcetti’s “A Bridge Home” program allows the City to provide immediate assistance where it’s needed the most, in communities where homeless people are already living. Facilities also provide supportive services including case management and health and wellness programs; include on-site 24/7 security, laundry and hygiene facilities.
