
Bureau of Engineering Leading Design and Construction of City's Temporary Housing for Homeless Angelenos

The Bureau of Engineering, the lead department for the planning and design of the City's A Bridge Home Program, has completed work on the City's first Tiny Home Village Project.
The project brings 44 individual shelter homes with 80 new beds to the North Hollywoord neighborhood.
Mayor Garcetti’s “A Bridge Home” program allows the City to provide immediate assistance where it’s needed the most, in communities where homeless people are already living. Facilities also provide supportive services including case management and health and wellness programs; include on-site 24/7 security, laundry and hygiene facilities.
In the past year, Engineering has completed nine homeless housing projects, totalling 838 beds. These projects include:

CD 15 Eubank Av Bridge Home- 100 Beds
CD 15 Beacon Street Bridge Home- 100 Beds
CD 11 Venice Bridge Home - 154 beds
CD 6 Aetna/Orange Line Station Bridge Home- 70 beds
CD 2 Van Nuys Bridge Home - 100 Beds
CD 14 Civic Center Bridge Home- 99 Beds
CD 10 Western/ Council Field Office Bridge Home 15 beds
